Tickets for Kentucky’s games vs. Missouri (Feb. 23), Mississippi State (Feb. 27), and Florida (Mar. 9) go on sale at 6 p.m. Tickets will first be available online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000.
Any tickets remaining after this evening’s sale will also be available to purchase through the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287 or the Rupp Arena Box Office at (859) 233-3535 starting Thursday. Tickets made available are from the unsold student ticket allotment. All tickets are in the upper level and are priced at $42 each.
Jerry Tipton of the Lexington Herald- Leader has covered Kentucky basketball since the 1981-82 season. That time includes five coaches, five Final Fours, four athletic directors, two interim athletic directors and many memories. Before coming to Lexington, Tipton worked eight years for the Huntington (W.Va.) Herald-Dispatch. He covered Marshall’s basketball team for two seasons before coming to the Herald-Leader.
