If Kentucky looks for a scapegoat after losing 83-71 to Texas A&M, a place to start is at the University of Washington.
Elston Turner, who led A&M with a career-high 40 points Saturday, played his first two seasons at Washington.
Turner then transferred to A&M.
Why?
Turner wanted more playing time, A&M Coach Billy Kennedy said after the Aggies beat UK.
One other reason: His father, also named Elston Turner, was working for the Houston Rockets. So A&M would be something of a return home.
