In speaking to reporters Thursday, UK Coach John Calipari stopped suddenly to acknowledge the presence of former star DeMarcus Cousins.
Calipari zeroed in on the Detroit Red Wings cap Cousins wore.
“Red Wings?!” Calipari said to Cousins. “You don’t even know who the Red Wings are.”
Then Calipari jokingly added, “Good baseball team.”
To which a smiling Cousins said, “Hockey.”
