As he did earlier in the year, Kentucky Coach John Calipari noted how SEC expansion affected how teams schedule non-conference games.
Two more quality league opponents — Missouri and Texas A&M — mean a greater reluctance to add top-drawer non-conference opponents, he said.
Calipari made the same argument earlier in the year when saying Kentucky needed to drop one of its traditional non-league opponents: Either North Carolina, Louisville or Indiana.
That opponent turned out to be Indiana when it refused to continue the series with UK on neutral courts only.
Calipari welcomed the idea of further SEC expansion.
“If the league expanded two more, I’d be fine with that,” he said.

When is UK, i.e., Cal, going to announce his ‘non traditional’ schedule?
I bet the home non conference schedule will be jam packed with top level schools don’t you?
BUT have no fear, its going to be worth the price of those recently raised tickets don’t ya bet?
