In talking about scheduling Tuesday, UK Coach John Calipari mused about a triple-header involving the men’s and women’s basketball teams, plus the school’s football team.
Such a scenario might have a basketball double-header on Friday followed by a football game on Saturday.
When asked UK football coach Joker Phillips’ reaction to such an idea, Calipari quipped, “He said, ‘OK, just don’t make it Notre Dame.’”
