UK Coach John Calipari predicted that all six UK players in the 2012 NBA Draft will be selected.
“All six will be drafted,” he said. “It’s just a matter of where they’ll be drafted.”
Calipari predicted the order of UK players taken will begin with Anthony Davis with the first pick, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Terrence Jones and then in some order: Doron Lamb, Marquis Teague and Darius Miller.
“I’d say four are locks (for the first round),” Calipari said of Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist, Jones and Lamb. “The others have to go work out (for NBA teams to improve their stock).”
The NBA Draft will be June 28.
The UK six are among a group of players scheduled to interview with NBA teams later this week in Chicago in what the pro league calls its “Combine.”
