Kentucky guard Doron Lamb sported a new closely-cropped haircut in the game at Georgia Tuesday night.
Teammate Anthony Davis said he accompanied Lamb to the barber shop and tried to talk him out of cutting his locks.
“I said, ‘Don’t do it, Doron,’” Davis said.
And as the barber cut into Lamb’s bushy hair, “I started screaming, Nooooo!” Davis said.
Lamb had said in the pre-season he would let his hair grow long. He said he didn’t have time for a haircut.
So why did Lamb get a haircut?
“He said he was getting tired of it,” Davis said.
