After losing at Vanderbilt on Wednesday, Georgia expected to fly home.
But the weather forced the Georgia traveling party to re-consider.
So instead of returning home, the team decided to stay in Nashville a couple extra days, and then bus to Oxford, Miss., on Friday for the game on Saturday.

That time includes five coaches, five Final Fours, four athletic directors, two interim athletic directors and many memories. Before coming to Lexington, Tipton worked eight years for the Huntington (W.Va.) Herald-Dispatch. He covered Marshall’s basketball team for two seasons before coming to the Herald-Leader.
