The biggest cheers during the first half of South Carolina’s game against Alabama on Thursday came when the large screens atop the scoreboard hanging over center court showed somebody related to Kentucky.
The first cheers were for Patrick Patterson.
The second cheers were for John Wall, who acknowledged the fans with a wave.
Kentucky fans made for a noisy segment of those in attendance for the first round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament.
The fans cheered themselves when the screens showed Kentucky fans.
So the beat goes on at the SEC Tournament.
