SEC honors Patterson, Wall

The Southeastern Conference named Kentucky big man Patrick Patterson and point guard John Wall as its Player and Freshman of the Week for last week.

Patterson averaged 18.7 points and 12.3 rebounds in UK’s three victories last week. His tied a career high with 18 rebounds against Rider.  He also recorded his 23rd and 24th career double-doubles, which tied him for 10th on UK’s career list with Pat Riley.

Wall averaged 20.3 points and 7.3 assists last week. He was also named ESPN’s National Player of the Week.
