Condolences to Sean Woods

Condolences to former UK player Sean Woods. His mother, Victoria “Vicki” Hayes Williams, passed away Thursday, Oct. 8.  She was from Lexington and went to Douglas High School. She was 65.

Among the survivors are brothers Thomas Embry and Clarence Hayes,Jr., and two aunts, Clara Jackson and Lillian Perkins, all of Lexington.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the New Covenant Christian Center (4625 N. Keystone Ave.) in Indianapolis. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Jones Tabernacle AME Zion Church (2510 E 34th St.) in Indianapolis.

Internment will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis. Williams and Bluitt Funeral Home in Indianapolis is in charge of arrangements.
