Kentucky will be one of nine stops in ESPNU’s coverage of Midnight Madness celebrations around the country.
ESPN commentator (and former UK assistant) Jimmy Dykes will be in Rupp Arena for Big Blue Madness. The Madness celebrations will be Oct. 16.
ESPNU will air Madness celebrations from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. ET. ESPN2 will simulcast ESPNU’s coverage from 11:30 p.m. – 12 a.m.
During a news conference in Louisville on Wednesday, UK Coach John Calipari downplayed the need for theatrics. He suggested to may address fans, but he emphasized that fans want to see the players play.
