Henry’s visit to UK returns to iffy status

Highly regarded wing prospect Xavier Henry’s on-again, off-again official visit to Kentucky this weekend is off again. But it could be back on again soon.

Henry’s high school senior prom is Friday, the day he had planned to visit UK with older brother C.J. Henry, and Xavier will attend the prom.

His father, Carl Henry, said it was possible his sons could visit Kentucky on Saturday. Or a decision between either UK or Kansas could be made without a trip to Lexington.

Carl Henry acknowledged that the family has mixed feelings about the options. The players’ mother does not like the idea of moving from Oklahoma City, Okla., to Central Kentucky. That gives Kansas a boost.

But the sons like new UK Coach John Calipari and his dribble-drive style of play, the two reasons why the players originally signed (Xavier) or walked on (C.J.) at Memphis.

“I put it to my sons this way,” Carl Henry said. “You went to Memphis because of Coach Cal. You liked his style.”

However this plays out, fans should expect a decision soon. “They’re kind of tired of it,” Carl Henry said of the recruiting process.

Unreal. I honestly dont know if they will end up anywhere. I dont know if I can keep up with them and their indecisiveness

So if mama does not want to move from Oklahoma City why did she allow her son to sign with Memphis??? Were they not going to move or something? I would figure whatever they were planning in regards to Memphis they could do with UK.

My gosh this young guy can’t make a decision. Sounds like he and his dad like UK….errr Coach Cal, but mom’s heart is at home and Kansas. Can’t blame her, it being her alma mater and so, but man I sure would like to add this kid. Good luck either way, short of meeting our Cats.

Are any of you as tired of this as I am? Henry, make a choice. Go or come. Either way, make a choice!!!!!

Really everyone, is this kid a MUST have, with Meeks “likely” to return, and already with Miller and Hood on the roster as well? Seems like the 2-3 spots are in fairly good hands already.
