Another honor for Keightley

UK continues to honor the late Bill Keightley, the long-time equipment manager who passed away last spring.

The latest way to remember “Mr. Wildcat” was this: All the former UK managers received blue and white wrist bands that say: Mr. Wildcat 1926-2008 on one side. On the other side, it reads “His Boys”

The new UK uniform has two tributes to Keightley: a black-trimmed “K” on the “Kentucky” across the chest, and a patch that reads “Mr. Wildcat” on the right shoulder.

UK also marked a spot on the Rupp Arena court in front of the space near the bench that Keightley used.
