UK to unveil new uniforms at Madness

“New” should be the theme of Kentucky’s Big Blue Madness.

In addition to several new faces (Kevin Galloway, Darius Miller, DeAndre Liggins, etc.), UK will also be unveiling a new uniform.

UK and its corporate sponsor Nike announced on Wednesday that the new uniform will be on display at Madness on Friday night.

No word yet on whether the uniform will be a radical departure from the traditional conservative Kentucky style. Fans of a certain age may recall the cat-scratch look of the mid-1990s. Or perhaps it’s merely a new uniform that incorporates modern touches.

We shall see on Friday night.
